Knights of Christ, also known as Warriors of Christ, is a Belgian jacquard wall tapestry depicting a panel from the Ghent Altarpiece, also known as Adoration of the Mystic Lamb, painted by Jan and Hubert van Eyck circa 1432. At that time the altarpiece represented a new conception of art, in which the idealization of the medieval tradition gave way to an exacting observation of nature and unidealised human representation.
