Madonna with Child is a Belgian made jacquard wall tapestry. It features the artwork from a center panel of a triptych alter piece in Croatia. A triptych is a three panel work that is placed on a church altar. In this work, we see the Christ child with Mary both with golden halos. Angels place a crown on top of Mary's head. This symbolizes the holy auras of the holy family and the high regard that Catholicism has for Mary in particular.
