Riva Degli Schiavoni, or Schiavoni Riverside, is an Italian jacquard woven wall tapestry. It renders a view from an 18th century painting of the famous location in Venice. The Riva Degli Schiavoni is a lovely and lively promenade that sits on the waterfront at St. Mark's Basin in Venice. It commences outside the Doges Palace and ends near the Arsenal.It was originally built in the ninth century from dredged silt and was named for the Slavic men who brought cargo to Venice from across the Adriatic Sea.
